DIWALI 2k19 AT XIME

At XIME, we never miss a chance to bring in colours, lights, fun and music into our campus. Diwali seemed to be the perfect occasion to incorporate all of these elements and transform the college into a vibrant pool of festivities. Students celebrated Diwali with great enthusiasm. It was an ideal time for sharing the joy of festivity and bonding over a rightful cause.

The day was filled with cultural events and fun. Students did dance performances along with musical renditions. The fun-packed day left the students energised and pumped up. 

Our students were particular that they make the celebration a sustainable one. Special care was taken to use eco-friendly products and to keep the whole event plastic free to the best of their efforts. They put up chemical-free rangolis and used clay lamps and diyas. They set an example for others by showing that the remnants of a festival should be positive vibes and not toxic wastes.

Far from home , here in XIME , the students formed their own home and a diversified family along with whom they celebrated the festival of lights and brightened up the campus with not just diyas and candles but their happiness too. This was entirely a student driven celebration, where all of them contributed and helped to make the occasion enjoyable and memorable. The senior batch took the initiative to make sure that the junior students take active part in the celebration and do not miss their home, by making homely decorations in the campus. Diwali 2K19 was indeed an endearing experience for them.
