Christmas wishes from the XIME Kochi family

The month of December is always jam-packed and swarming with activities here at XIME. The stress of semester exams, last minute preparations, assignments, planning for placements, packing for the holidays, bidding  brief good-bye to the cozy hostel room and roommates; there is always something or the other in the list to be done. But no matter what, we make sure we find time for sharing the joy of Christmas season. 

XIME family, together with the students, staff and faculty celebrated Christmas 2019 with all the love and happiness. Christmas in XIME Kochi is all about the smell of scented candles, the sound of Christmas carols and exchanging a lot of gifts! The students organised everything so well in a very short span of time. The college was lit up with lights and decorations. They made a crib and decked up a Christmas tree in the campus. Gifts were exchanged by Secret Santas, followed by music and fun.

The program started with an address by the Director Dr.Nandagopal Sir, followed by a mime performance. Students sang carols and enacted nativity scenes. The skit told the story of the birth of Jesus Christ and how the Angel blessed Mother Mary with a child. Then there was a beautiful performance of the Angels happily dancing on the birth of Jesus Christ. The event concluded with a sumptuous dinner.

We celebrated one of the best and unforgettable Christmas eves ever. XIME is all about cultural diversity and we welcome many more festivals to come with open hearts; and celebrate them all with joy and happiness.

And we are back to the routine hustle, with lighter and happier hearts.
