Born in Alappuzha, Kerala, he moved to Hong Kong in 1965 and joined the Far Eastern Review before eventually moving on to Hongkong Standard and was its editor in chief for consecutive 6 years from 1974. Though his personal journey stands as a testament to the power of resilience, unwavering passion, and an unyielding commitment to his dreams, he spoke on the topic that was closest to his professional life. His talk was on the evolution and evolving nature of relations between the South East Asian nations and India, given the ever - changing economic and political relations, spanning centuries.
