Students' Clubs at XIME Kochi

Students are always at the centre of our aspirations at XIME. Keeping in mind their growth and overall development, the college encourages them to form clubs and host informative activities. As a result, we have various students' clubs that function with wholehearted support from the faculty and management. Events, games, visits, workshops and other activities that are regularly planned and hosted by these clubs inculcate management tactics and provide the students basic lessons in practical skills and relationship building.

The various clubs at the college are:

EMPRESARIO CLUB

A TRUE ENTREPRENEUR IS A DOER, NOT A DREAMER

The aim of Empresario Club is to create a spark in the minds of students, towards entrepreneurial competencies. The club provides a conduit through which students  access entrepreneurial resources, network with community entrepreneurs and share ideas. The club is dedicated to nurturing future entrepreneurs. Associated with IEDC (Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell), the club actively hosts events and inspiring talks for the students.

XSEED CLUB

The objective of XSEED Club is to give its students an understanding of the current social and environmental concerns and to to involve them in activities that address these concerns. As part of their activities, they also support NGOs and develop solutions for social and environmental concerns with managerial approach and skills.

The club inculcates concern for the society and environment in our students. It engages them in regular activities related to social and environmental concerns.

MARKXIME

 

THERE IS NOT JUST JOY TO WINNING. THERE IS ALWAYS GLORY.

Markxime started out as a means for the students of XIME to harness the inner marketer in them. It has now evolved into a medium which allows them to get a better understanding of the marketing world. 

Every year, the club, famed for its mind-tingling events, manages to up the ante and promises to continue to do so. Markxime is no longer just a club. It is a force of nature, one that fosters constructive innovation and change, within the students. 

Knowledge truly ignites minds and Markxime is the spark that everyone needs.

FINITIATIVE

With the vision to create ordinary people with extraordinary minds, FINITIATIVE, the Finance club of XIME Kochi focuses on engaging the students in finance related activities to enhance their knowledge, to equip them with strategies and to help them in making wise decisions related to investment. 

The club hosts events and activities that help students use their domain knowledge in practical experiences.

HRUDAY CLUB

'Touching hearts and transforming people!' HRuday Club, the official human resource club of XIME-Kochi aims at fostering a culture of learning HR practices by organising knowledge sharing sessions, student-faculty interactions, professional associations and other engagement activities. The club's philosophy is to bridge the gap between the industry and academia. The club tries to attain this objective through organising events regularly across the academic year. The club also actively participates in events hosted by professional HR organisations and thereby contributes to and benefits from networking in the industry. 

X-OPS CLUB

The Operations Club of XIME seeks to serve as a platform for all the students, especially operations management enthusiasts to interact and learn; and to bridge the gap between the classroom training and the practical application. The interesting segments like Operations Strategy, Logistics and Supply Chain Planning, Constraint Management, Inventory Management and many more are nurtured through various games, activities, quizzes and conferences. X-OPS also publishes its annual magazine to keep students aware about recent happenings in the domain.
